Panorama Raclawicka
Jana Ewangelisty Purkyniego 11, Wrocław, Poland, 50-155
The Panorama Raclawicka is a huge 3D painting that’s 374 feet (114 meters) wide and 49 feet (15 meters) high, depicting the 1794 Battle of Raclawice, a significant conflict during the Kosciuszko Uprising. This magnificent piece of artwork was completed in 1894 and is one of the oldest paintings of this style in Poland.
The basics
Some travelers visit the Panorama Raclawicka as part of a guided walking tour that uncovers the history of Wroclaw and includes skip-the-line entry. These tours typically also visit Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski), the Church of the Holy Cross, and the National Museum. Other travelers pass by the exterior on an e-scooter tour or during a self-guided city quest game. Panorama Raclawicka is also sometimes combined with tours of the Japanese Garden at Szczytnicki Park.
