Parque de la Costa
Vivanco 1509, Tigre, Buenos Aires, B1648 AAB

The Basics
Choose from a Promo Passport, which includes access to select rides, or a Gold Passport that includes unlimited rides. If you’re a thrill-seeker, get your adrenaline pumping on roller coasters such as the Challenge, Pendulum, and Whirlwind. Younger kids can enjoy favorites such as the bumper cars, pirate ship, and balloon flight, while the whole family can ride the Ferris Wheel and take a boat cruise around the lake.
Things to Know Before You Go
On-site facilities include lockers, a gift shop, and a selection of food kiosks and cafés.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult; children under three are free.
There are rides and activities suitable for all ages, but some rides have height restrictions.
The park is wheelchair accessible, but not all of the activities are suitable for those with limited mobility.
How to Get There
Parque de la Costa is located on Tigre waterfront, about 20 miles (50 kilometers) north of Buenos Aires. Regular trains run from Buenos Aires’ central station to Tigre and take 45 minutes. Alternatively, you can arrive by boat from the Puerto Madero docks, which are open during the summer months. From Tigre train station, it’s a 10-minute walk to the park.
When to Get There
The water park is open on weekends year-round and daily during school holidays, but opening periods can vary so it’s best to check in advance. Opening times are typically 11am to 7pm’ it’s best to arrive just before opening, especially in the summer months when lines can get long.
Summer in Tigre
Tigre is a popular destination for a day trip or weekend getaway from Buenos Aires, especially during the scorching summer months. As well as spending the day at Parque de la Costa, cool off at the Aquafan water park, enjoy water sports along the Tigre River, or take a scenic cruise around the Tigre Delta. In the town, the daily crafts market draws large crowds and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants to dine with a view along the waterfront.
