How to Get There

Phuket FantaSea is located north of Patong at Kamala Beach, about 14 miles (22 kilometers) from Phuket Town. The most convenient way to get there is by taking advantage of the park’s transfer service or hiring a taxi.

When to Get There

Phuket FantaSea is open in the evenings, both before and after nightly performances in the Palace of the Elephants Theater. It’s a good idea to arrive early to soak up the sights and browse the shopping street. The park is closed on Thursdays.

Restaurants at Phuket FantaSea

Show-goers have two restaurants to choose from should they want to dine before the show. The Golden Kinnaree Buffet, which claims to be Asia’s biggest restaurant, serves a variety of Thai and international dishes. Suriyamas Seafood Buffet, set within the larger restaurant, highlights the bounty of the sea through offerings like a cooked-to-order station.

Driving

Start in Patong Beach and head north on Route 4030 (Patong–Kamala Road). Follow Route 4030 along the coast toward Kamala. When you reach Kamala, look for large brown signs for Phuket FantaSea. Turn left at the clearly marked Phuket FantaSea entrance.

Public transportation

From the main tourist area of Patong, you can catch the Phuket Smart Bus to Phuket FantaSea—it stops a short walk from the park entrance.

Best times to visit

Phuket FantaSea opens around 5:30pm, and it’s recommended that you arrive about one hour before the show time to enjoy the facilities.

Best days to visit

The park is only open three days a week, on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday, so plan accordingly.

Best months to visit

For the coolest temperatures and lowest chance of rain, visit Phuket in the November to March dry season.

Special events

There are two shows per evening at Phuket FantaSea (7pm and 9pm), so you can choose the performance that best suits your schedule.
