The Basics
Choose your own water adventure at Plopsaqua, regardless of age, with options including play areas, whirlpool hot tubs, a sauna, and a variety of slides. Highlights include the Storm Bath, outdoor pool, the Disco Slide, in which you can choose your own music and lights, and the Sky Drop, a free-fall style slide with a 20-meter drop. Grab a light lunch at the snack bar and browse the shop for a swimsuit, towel, or other needed items.

How to Get There
Plopsaqua is in De Panne, a less than 10-minute walk via a footpath to the De Panne Railway Station. Plopsaqua is 35 miles (56 kilometers) from Bruges and 87 miles (140 kilometers) from Brussels. To arrive from either city by public transport, take the train to Ostende, switch to tram line 0, and get off in De Panne. Those coming from the UK via Calais Eurostar station will need to drive about 65 kilometers (40 miles) to reach Plopsaqua.
When to Get There
Opening hours vary throughout the year, so check the park website before planning a visit. On less busy days, the park opens in late morning and remains open until early evening. On most Fridays and for school holidays, it opens at 9am and stays open until at least 8pm, occasionally staying open until around midnight.

Right next to Plopsaqua is its sister amusement park, Plopsaland De Panne. This large amusement park boasts rides for visitors young and old, from toddler-friendly attractions to roller coasters, along with a regular schedule of live entertainment. 2-day combo tickets that include a day in each park are available.
