There are many ways to stumble upon Rocca di Bergamo, a favorite of locals and a short walk from the funicular. Private sightseeing tours typically visit a selection of squares, churches, and historic buildings, such as Cittadella di Bergamo and Cappella Colleoni. Independent adventures might come to Rocca di Bergamo on self-guided walking tours and smartphone-enabled audio tours.
Things to know before you go
Many areas of Rocca di Bergamo are not wheelchair-accessible due to the historical nature of the site. Wear comfortable walking shoes to make climbing the tower easier. The Rocca di Bergamo is an incredible place to take panoramic photos of Bergamo.
