One of the area’s most beloved attractions is the Sky Walk panoramic platform on the Dachstein Glacier, where the view stretches across a sea of snowy alpine peaks and lurching drops of 820 feet (250 meters) straight down to the Ennstal (Enns Valley) floor.

How to get there
Schladming is a 50-minute drive from Salzburg, and the surrounding peaks can be reached by cable car or lift throughout the year. Salzburg is also the nearest transport hub, with an airport connecting to other cities in Europe and a train station.
