Siam Park
Avenida Siam, Costa Adeje, Tenerife, 38660
With gravity-defying waterslides, wave pools, and water-play areas for all ages, Siam Park offers every opportunity to get your adrenaline pumping. Ranking among the largest and most popular water parks in Europe, it’s a firm favorite for families visiting Tenerife.
The Basics
Siam Park entrance tickets include access to all the park’s attractions, and shuttle transportation is available from multiple locations around south Tenerife. Once inside, thrill-seekers can test their nerves on slides such as The Dragon, The Vulcano, and the legendary Tower of Power, a vertical transparent slide that plunges riders through an aquarium of sharks and stingrays. There’s also a huge white-sand beach; rafting and boat cruises; a Wave Palace, where you can swim and surf on waves up to 10 feet high (3 meters high); and swimming areas to suit all abilities.
Things to Know Before You Go
On-site facilities include lockers, free sunbeds and parasols, free Wi-Fi, and a selection of cafés, shops, and restaurants.
Paid parking is available on-site.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult; children under 3 are free.
There are swimming areas and activities suitable for all ages, but some slides and activities have height restrictions.
The park and pools are wheelchair-accessible, but not all of the activities are suitable for those with limited mobility.
How to Get There
Siam Park is located in Costa Adeje, along Tenerife’s South Coast. The park is easy to find, just off exit 73 of the TF-1 highway, about a 15-minute drive from nearby towns such as Adeje and Los Cristianos or around 50 minutes from Santa Cruz in the north. The park offers free shuttle service with pickups in Los Cristianos, Las Américas, and Costa Adeje—tickets must be booked in advance.
When to Get There
The park is open daily all year round, from midmorning to evening in summer (May–October) and with slightly reduced hours in winter (November–April). The busiest time is in peak season (July–August)—if visiting at this time, plan to get there when the park opens to secure a sunlounger.
A Taste of Thailand in Tenerife
Opening its doors in 2007, Siam Park was designed by Christoph Kiessling and inspired by Thailand. Even just strolling through the park is an experience, with traditional Thai-style architecture, streams filled with tropical fish, and a palm-fringed beach surrounded by swimming pools and Jacuzzi baths. In keeping with the Thai theme, there’s also a floating market, where you can shop for souvenirs or tuck into delicious Thai cuisine and street food.
