How to get there

St. Pancras International Station sits on Euston Road, between Midland Road and Pancras Road. You can reach the station from Continental Europe on Eurostar trains or travel here from other parts of Britain on numerous mainline train services, including the South Eastern, East Midlands, and Thameslink lines. To reach the station via the Underground, take the Northern, Victoria, Piccadilly, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, or Circle line to the King's Cross St. Pancras station. You can also reach the station via numerous buses, on foot, or by taxi or bike.

When to get there

St. Pancras Station is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week; Underground trains typically run between 5am and midnight. If you’re taking a Eurostar train, plan to arrive roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour before your scheduled departure time so that you can make your way to the platform.

There are numerous places to eat near the station, whether you’re touring the area or simply stopping between trains. For a wide variety of foods, head to Granary Square or Coal Drops Yard, two recently-renovated spots that together boast dozens of trendy eateries. Ways to explore

Trains from St. Pancras go north to the East Midlands or south to Kent, as well as to London Gatwick and Luton airports. From the Eurostar terminal, trains connect to Amsterdam, Brussels, and Paris, offering quick European day trips using the Channel Tunnel.

You need to pay the London Congestion Charge and the ULEZ (Ultra Low Emission Zone) fee, if applicable for your vehicle. Parking is available for up to 24 hours at the St. Pancras International parking lot and the Handyside Car Park. The nearby NCP lot on Judd Street offers longer-term parking.

Public transportation

St. Pancras International is a major London interchange for transport. Reach Kings Cross & St. Pancras International underground station via the Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria, and Thameslink lines. There are overground trains to King’s Cross or nearby Euston Station and buses from central London.

Best times to visit

The station is used by commuters, so avoid the midweek rush hour if possible. There are fewer people between 9am and 5pm, or after 6:30pm.

Best days to visit

Weekends, after midday, tend to be quieter. If you travel on a Sunday, there are fewer trains.

Best months to visit

Like most of London, St. Pancras is busier in summer. The warmer months are great for outdoor dining at King’s Cross.

Special events

Although there are no festivals or special events at St. Pancras, outdoor events, such as exhibitions and open-air cinema screens, take place around King’s Cross between May and September.
