Floors are dedicated to different destinations, staff wear flight attendant uniforms, and there are arrival and departure areas. The basics

Some travelers come to Terminal 21 as part of a Bangkok layover tour. These tours are designed to showcase the highlights of Bangkok in a limited time according to your flight schedule; private air-conditioned transport, a Thai massage, and lunch are frequently included. Tours typically include visits to key sights such as the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Khaosan Road, and Terminal 21.

Things to know before you go

  • The mall is air-conditioned, so it's a great place to come on a hot day. However, it’s huge so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

  • If you fancy a workout, there is a Fitness First with pay-by-the-hour access on the 6th floor.

  • There is free Wi-Fi throughout the mall; visit the information booths for more information.

  • Cash isn’t accepted at the Food Court, instead, you have to add credit to a prepaid card.

  • In the basement, there’s a huge market where you can buy groceries to take back with you.

How to get there

Terminal 21 is easily accessible via public transport. Take the BTS Skytrain (Green Line) to Asok Station (Exit 1) or the MRT (Blue Line) to Sukhumvit Station (Exit 3). Buses 25, 38, and 136 drop you right by the mall. From both BTS and MRT stations, a short walk leads you directly to Terminal 21, making shopping and dining experiences hassle-free.

When to get there

For a comfortable shopping experience, visit Terminal 21 on weekdays to avoid the weekend crowds. The mall's air-conditioned environment provides a welcome escape from the heat, particularly in summer. Whether you visit on a weekday or weekend, Terminal 21 is open year-round from mid-morning until late evening.

Where to eat at Terminal 21

For a diverse dining experience, head to Terminal 21's top floor Pier 21, which has one of Bangkok's best food courts. With an array of stalls serving affordable dishes, it’s the perfect way to sample different cuisines. If food courts aren't your style, you can explore other dining options throughout the mall, including sushi buffets, and Korean, Japanese, and Western restaurants on the fourth and fifth floors.
