Terra Natura Benidorm is a must-visit for animal lovers. Unlike conventional zoos, Terra Natura uses natural barriers such as rivers and canyons to deter animals and people from crossing paths. Wander through the park and discover different zones and regions, including an area dedicated to Pangea, the ancient landmass that once covered part of the globe before it fractured into the continents we know today.
Things to know before you go
There are 1,500 animals living in Terra Natura, including elephants, rhinos, and many species of exotic birds.
Feeding stations are used throughout the day, and visitors are welcome to get involved.
Cafés, restaurants, and public toilets are all available on-site.
How to get there
Terra Natura Benidorm is easy to reach by car using the CV-758 highway. Tours, including private excursions, run year-round to the zoo from Benidorm, and taxis are easy to find in the center of town.
When to get there
Terra Natura Benidorm is open from morning to evening every day. The busiest times are during the midday period, so if you want to avoid the crowds, consider visiting in the evening. This is also a good time to see nocturnal animals come out for feeding time.
