Western Water Park
Carretera Cala Figuera 2-22, Magaluf, Majorca, 07181
One of Mallorca’s biggest aqua parks, Western Water Park boasts a wide array of rides and pools, including The Beast—the world’s 11th-highest slide—to keep all ages entertained. Fittingly set in western Mallorca near the resort of Magaluf, the park has a Wild West theme, giving it extra family appeal.
The basics
Western Water Park features around 15 aquatic attractions for tots, teens, and adults alike. Composed of three zones—Western Land, Indian Town, and El Paso—it offers everything from high-speed slides to flumes and play pools. Draws include the near-98-foot (30-meter) Beast drop, multitrack slides, and fountains for cooling breaks. Restaurants, food kiosks, and a swim-and-souvenir shop round out the experience.
You can pre-book tickets to the park, or if you’re staying in another part of Mallorca, book an excursion that includes round-trip transportation and admission.
Things to know before you go
Western Water Park is ideal for thrill-seekers and families with kids of all ages.
Sun loungers and lockers can be rented for an additional fee.
On-site amenities include restrooms, Wi-Fi, and pay parking.
Guests can bring their own food to enjoy at the picnic spots.
How to get there
Western Water Park sits on the Cami Cala Figuera just west of Magaluf, a few minutes’ drive south from the Ma-1 linking Palma and Andratx. It’s a 15-minute drive from Palma and a 50-minute drive from east-island resorts like Alcudia. Buses from Palma, Palma Nova, and Magaluf stop outside the park gate. If you’re coming from north or east Mallorca and you’re not driving, the easiest option is to book a tour with return transportation.
When to get there
The park is open May to mid-October, but double-check opening times before visiting, as there are occasional closures in May and June. Opening hours are typically from morning to early evening. In peak season, aim to arrive as early as possible to avoid the longest ride lines.
Top attractions at Western Water Park
If you want to hit the daredevil rides, get to them first so you’re free to take things easy afterwards. Brave the kamikaze-style Beast drop before hitting El Latigo: a spiraling chute of tightly coiled turns. Having checked off these two monsters, you can then relax if you wish, with the slower pace of the lazy river, fountains, and family-friendly waterfalls pool.
