Williams is located 30 miles (48 kilometers) west of Flagstaff on I-40 West. Take exit 165 and follow Historic Route 66 into town. From the Grand Canyon, take Highway 64 South for 60 miles (96 kilometers). If you want a break from driving, book a guided tour or take the Grand Canyon Railway.
Williams is a popular year-round destination, with plentiful hiking and camping in the summer and alpine and cross-country skiing in the winter. For moderate temperatures and the best weather, visit in spring or fall.
