Campground Overview
Introduction
The first come, first served campground (no reservations) Belle Fourche River Campground is a 2-loop, 45-site campground (43 pull-through sites with room for RVs up to 35') with 4 ADA sites and 3 tent-only group sites. Drinking water is available at water spigots and in the restrooms. No hookups are available. Large cottonwood trees provide shade. A picnic shelter and tables are available north of the campground. 14-day limit on occupancy.

The Belle Fourche Campground will be open for the season May 16 - October 14 (closed at noon on 10/14).
Weather
Obtain forecast information before beginning your adventures and observe changing weather conditions. Thunderstorms can develop quickly bringing lightening, hail, rain, and hypothermia. Summer days can bring very hot temperatures. Carry enough water, and realize the area around the Tower can reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Directions
From the entrance station, travel along the park road approximately 1 mile, and turn left at the Administration Building. Stay left at the fork, and the campground is at the end of the road.
Rates & Fees
Individual Sites
Individual sites can accommodate up to 8 people. A maximum of two vehicles (or 4 motorcycles) are permitted at each site. The nearby picnic area may be used for overflow parking.
Group Sites
Group sites can accommodate up to 20 people per site. A maximum of 4 autos is permitted at each site. The nearby picnic area may be used for overflow parking if necessary.
Accessible Sites
Accessible sites are: A2, A4, B11 and B25. Individual sites can accommodate up to 8 people. A maximum of two vehicles (or 4 motorcycles) are permitted at each site. The nearby picnic area may be used for overflow parking.

1. Overnight stays/camping in park is only allowed in established sites within the Belle Fourche River Campground 2. Check-out is 12:00 pm 3. Maximum of 2 autos and 8 people per site; 4 vehicles and 20 people for group sites. 4. Quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am; idling of motor vehicles is prohibited during quiet hours 5. Generators permitted from 8 am to 8 pm 6. Campsite occupancy may not exceed 14 cumulative days within a 28-day period 7. Collection of firewood is prohibited within the park 8. No attaching or tying items to trees 9. Pets must be leashed at all times and may not be left unattendedAccessibility
Wheelchair Access
Wheelchairs should be able to navigate around the campground, picnic and amphitheater areas with little difficulty. Be aware that the roads are paved but most areas have gravel parking with grass and dirt camping areas, except the accessible sites which have cement areas and a raised platform for tents.

ADA Information
Four sites in the campground are accessible - sites A-2, A-4, B-11, and B-25. Campground restrooms are accessible. The outdoor amphitheater is wheelchair accessible. The picnic area restrooms and drinking fountain are accessible. Two picnic tables will accommodate wheelchairs. They are located on either side of the sidewalk before you reach the restrooms.
