Campground Overview
The Northern Lights Campground is located just off Highway M-95, one of the main north-south routes in the Central Upper Peninsula, in North Republic, between the shores of the Michigamme River and School Lake. We offers great fishing, boating, and kayaking on the Michigamme River. The park features 11 30/50 amp electric and water hookup sites, 12 spacious rustic sites located in a natural setting, and cable TV and Wi-Fi. The RV sites are located in an open setting with gravel roads and site pads with each featuring a campfire ring and a picnic table. There is a new vault toilet and an RV dump station for usage. Whether its for a night or two, we hope to see you soon!

Area Tips
Republic, Michigan is located almost in the direct center of the Upper Peninsula. There are boat tours, waterfalls, casinos, festivals, deep water fishing, restaurants, theaters, (live action and film), nature reserves, walking, biking, ORV and hiking trails all within easy reach. There are many opportunities for day trips. Don't hesitate to ask the locals for advice on where to go and what to see, they are really friendly folks.
Rules
Noise
Excessive noise, abusive, vulgar or obscene language or any inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
One RV/ tent
Only one rv or tent per site (with the allowance of an extra child's tent)
Fireworks/ Firearms
Use of fireworks and firearms is strictly prohibited
Pet Policy
Dogs are allowed Leashes may not be longer than 6 feet Clean up after your pet
