Campground Overview

Sun Lake RV Resort is a pet friendly RV park just a short distance from Tampa Bay next to Sun City Center. This 6-acre resort offers 48 full hook-up sites with 20/30/50 amp service, and 3 tent sites. Pull-thrus. WiFi available. Additional facilities include hot showers, laundry room, restrooms, picnic area, and recreation hall. Heated outdoor swimming pool, 32 acre bass lake for fishing, boating (electric motors), and canoeing (fresh water license required for fishing). Lots can accommodate 45ft. motor homes. Located next to Sun City Center.

The campground is open all year.

While Sun Lake RV Resort is located within a pristine and natural Florida environment, it's 35 minutes away from the entertainment and activities of Downtown Tampa and and near popular cities such as Anna Maria Island, Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa and Clearwater. We are less than a mile to I-75 ramp!

There is plenty to do while staying with us; hiking, biking, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing, fine dining, performing arts, cultural events and festivals.

Rules

Pet Policy

We are PET FRIENDLY! We have standard park rules as stated below. All pets must be pre-approved by Lessor, no aggressive breeds (as determined by Lessor) shall be allowed in the Park, including without limitation, Pit-bull, Rottweiler and Dobermans, etc. Tenants with pets must keep them on a leash when outside. There are assigned areas for animals to be walked and they are permitted in no other area of the Park. Pet excrement must be removed promptly and properly disposed of by pet owner. There are fees in place for guests and residents who have more than 2 pets. Please walk pets on leash to the "DogPatch" to do their business and clean up after them. Keep pets on your site, quiet and attended while outside.

Swimming pool and lake

No inflatables nor glass containers in pool area. OWN RISK

Washing

No washing of cars, RVs, etc. Please turn off unattended.

Trash

Place trash in plastic bags and deposit in the dumpster.

Respectful

Be considerate of other campers and do not cut across their sites.

Speed Limit

Follow park speed limit of no faster than 10 MPH.

Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are 11 pm to 7 am.

Protecting our grass

To protect our grass, please stay on sidewalks and roads. No mats or rugs on the grass.
