The best time to visit Montego Bay is during the winter. Temperatures are mild (but still much warmer than those in most of the U.S.), there isn’t a lot of rain, and there is plenty to do. The best and safest way to get around Montego Bay is by taxi. Some resorts offer shuttle buses for their guests, so if you don’t want to take a taxi, make sure that your resort can pick you up from (and take you back to) the airport.
