The tavern takes its name from Henry Lee, a soldier who attracted the admiration of Gen. George Washington through his adroit horsemanship that earned him the nickname "Light Horse Harry." Centuries later, urban diners beat a path to the beautiful, lovingly restored dining room, or to the street terrace for fresh seafood food—for lobster rolls or shrimp po boys or crab cakes and fried clam baskets. But there is bar food like burgers, too. This is a fun downtown neighborhood eatery in every way.
