Since 1970, this family-run restaurant has been attracting travelers headed to Malibu through the Santa Monica Mountains. With its rural, woodsy surroundings and rustic interior, this spot offers a distinctive glimpse into California’s pioneering past. Try the smoky, oak-grilled sirloin steak served with a green salad and baked potato. Only five booths and three small tables are available, in addition to seating at the bar, so reservations are highly recommended.
