Overview

Drottningholm Palace is one of Sweden's best preserved royal palace constructed in the seventeenth century. It is the permanent residence of the current royal family, King Carl XVI Gustav and Queen Silvia, and one of Stockholm's three World Heritage Sites. After a private tour with your authorized guide in the Palace you have a chance to take a walk in the French inspired baroque style garden with it's well trimmed hedges, flower arrangements and water fountains. Enjoy the travels back in your comfortable ride through the close suburbs of Stockholm and the city centre, taking you back to your hotel or cruise ship. On the way back your guide will point out some interesting sights and buildings and let you know what they are and what meaning they have for the city.
