Get to know the culture of Mexico by taking part in a unique experience: a 4-hour Mayan 'temazcal' ceremony, led by an authentic shaman. For the Mayan people, this ritual in the 'home of hot stones' was a source of health and energy. Learn about the power of volcanic stones and copal (resin) as you are guided by a shaman through four stages of purification. After the session in the temazcal, refresh by taking a cold bath. Then have a light snack of fresh, seasonal fruit and natural beverages. Leave feeling refreshed, renewed, and filled with positive energy.
