Glen Echo Park

Glen Echo Park is at 7300 MacArthur Blvd. More than 1,000 arts classes are offered to the public each year, and an artists-in-residence program presents performances, exhibitions, classes, workshops and summer camps. Historic buildings house the working studios of glass and ceramics artisans as well as painters, photographers, silversmiths and musicians. Year-round highlights include the Puppet Co. and Adventure Theatre MTC children's performances; social dances in the Spanish Ballroom, Bumper Car Pavilion and Ballroom Back Room; and exhibitions displayed in the Park View, Popcorn and Stone Tower galleries. A 1921 Dentzel carousel operates May through September. A summer concert series is offered.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
