AAA Editor Notes
Otis House Museum, 141 Cambridge St., was designed by Charles Bulfinch for Harrison Gray Otis, lawyer, entrepreneur and Boston's third mayor. The 1796 house has been refurbished and decorated to reflect the style of the Federal period of the early 1800s. Additional rooms depict the use of the house as a boarding and medical establishment. It now is headquarters of Historic New England, formerly the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
