The Rocks off I-93 exit 40, then .5 mi. e. on US 302 to Glessner Rd., then e. to 4 Christmas Ln. The 1882 estate of Chicago businessman John Jacob Glessner, a founder of International Harvester, sits on the grounds. Scenic trails with wildlife viewing and hiking and skiing opportunities wind throughout the 1,400 acres.
Glessner's grandchildren donated the land to the Society for Protection of New Hampshire Forests in 1978. A sustainable Christmas tree farm with more than 43,000 trees is open to the public, as is an interactive maple sugar house and museum.
