Parc Oméga, 4 km (2.5 mi.) n. on Hwy. 323, is a 12-kilometre (7.5-mi.) drive-through 890-hectare (2,200-acre) wildlife park with free-roaming large and small native creatures. Inhabitants include beaver; wild boar; buffalo; fallow, red and white-tailed deer; duck; elk; goose; wapiti; raccoons; reindeer; bears; foxes; and wolves. Also on the site are a small farm with barnyard animals as well as walking and hiking trails along which visitors may encounter fauna. During the summer an animal spectacular show is presented.

Pets are not permitted.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.

Daily 9-7, mid-June to early Sept.; 10-6, early Sept. to mid-Nov.; 10-5, rest of year. Birds of prey show given at noon, 2 and 4, late June-Labour Day. Last admission 2 hours before closing, mid-May to late Dec.; 1 hour before closing, rest of year.
