The Historic Paramount Theatre, 125 4th Ave. N.E., was built in 1929 for stage productions and to show first-run movies. It is one of the few remaining “atmospheric” theaters in Minnesota; the interior recalls a Spanish courtyard, complete with an overhead nighttime sky filled with twinkling stars and rolling clouds.
