One of the nation's great natural history and science museums, the Perot Museum of Nature & Science is a top family attraction in Downtown Dallas. The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex lays claim to the very first Six Flags location: Six Flags Over Texas opened its doors in Arlington back in 1961 and it remains one of the area’s leading family attractions.
