Kentucky’s long-standing transportation hub, the L&N Depot, once had more than 20 trains departing the site daily. The depot and Historic RailPark and Train Museum are now home to an extensive collection of vintage railcars, transportation exhibits, and interactive displays. Take the whole family for a day of educational entertainment.
Discover the importance of the train depot on the economic development of Bowling Green as you head out on a self-guided tour of the 2-story museum. Then, continue with a guided tour of the five historic railcars. Chat with the docent-cook, engineer, and conductor, or just leave a message in “hobo code.”
To save time at the entrance, buy your ticket online in advance—the guided tour is included. Reservations by phone or email are required for groups of 10 or more; otherwise, walk-ins are welcome.

The museum is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers; however, the historic railcars have limited access due to stairs and narrow doorways.
Located outside of Bowling Green, the museum is easily reached by car. From I-65, take exit 26 west onto Highway 234. Continue along the highway, turn right onto Kentucky Street, then turn left into the railpark parking lot.
