Las Rozas Village

Calle Juan Ramón Jiménez 3, Madrid, Spain, 28232

Madrid is a fashion-forward city, and shoppers that want the latest styles can find stellar deals at Madrid's Las Rozas Village. At the outlet shopping hub, you can find brand-name products at steep discounts, with everything from clothing and fragrance to swimwear. Visitors from non-EU countries enjoy an enviable perk: tax-free shopping.

The basics

Las Rozas Village is packed with luxury shopping options. Find a range of designers here; from Armani and Versace to Calvin Klein—many of which offer significant discounts. To shop at the outlet's more than 100 high-end retailers, you can visit independently by bus, or for a hassle-free experience, consider booking a shopping tour. Many tours run from Madrid to Las Rozas, and may offer discount cards or bonus gift cards for even better deals.

Things to know before you go

  • If you want to take advantage of tax-free shopping, be sure to ask for tax-refund receipts for each purchase you make; you can validate receipts at customs.
  • Las Rozas offers amenities including free parking, Wi-Fi, and baby-changing stations.
  • You can book an appointment in advance for personal shopping services.
  • Dine at the Las Rozas eateries, offering options like tapas, hot dogs, coffee, and more.
  • The shopping center is wheelchair-accessible.

How to get there

Las Rozas Village is conveniently-located about 10.5-miles (17-kilometers) from downtown Madrid. Though you can save the trouble of navigating public transit by booking a shopping excursion, you can also take the bus. From the Moncloa metro station, hop on one of #627, #631, #641, or #643 buses. You can also ride the train from the Atocha Station in Madrid to El Pinar de Las Rozas, and find a taxi from there.

When to get there

Las Rozas Village is open daily, from early till late, and holds later hours on Saturdays. Las Rozas is closed on select holidays, including Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Travelers report that it can get busy in the afternoon, and since many tourists stop here for the tax-free deals, avoid summer tourist season to beat the crowds.

Where to Find Great Shopping in Madrid

If you don't want to trek to Las Rozas Village, you can still find fantastic shopping in the heart of Madrid. If you stroll along Gran Via around Sol, you can find numerous brand-name shops, including Corte Inglés—a bustling department store with several locations. For the best flea market in town, don't miss the weekly El Rastro market in La Latina, or for high-end boutiques, head to the swanky Salamanca district.
