BC Forest Discovery Centre

BC Forest Discovery Centre is just off Hwy. 1 to 2892 Drinkwater Rd. The site has more than 40 hectares (100 acres) of forest and interactive displays and videotapes depicting British Columbia's forestry heritage, management practices and renewal efforts. In addition to a logging museum there are Douglas fir trees, forestry equipment and an old-time logging camp. A nature trail (July through August) and a ride on a logging train (April through September) are available; a Christmas train ride and related events take place in late November and December. Special events take place throughout the year.
