Lincoln Park , at the intersection of Shawnee and E. Elm streets, offers picnic facilities and a display of the last steam locomotive built at Lima Locomotive Works and an 1895 country railroad station.
The Veterans Memorial Freedom Flag Monument, 1191 Buckeye Rd., is the largest free-standing permanent flag in the United States. Each tower is made of red, white and blue granite “bricks” engraved to honor our nation’s veterans.
