Spectacular from the outside and a premier music venue on the inside, Birmingham Town Hall is a Grade I–listed building in the city center. This historic building was inspired by Roman temples and over the years has hosted musical greats, including Nina Simone and The Beatles. Today, you can see concerts and special events throughout the year.

Thanks to its central location, Birmingham Town Hall is featured on many city guided tours. Walking tours often highlight key architectural landmarks, including Birmingham Cathedral, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery, Symphony Hall, and the Ikon Gallery. While the building currently isn’t open to the public outside of events, you can view the exterior at any time.

Birmingham Town Hall is easy to get to by public transport. The Town Hall tram stop, served by the West Midlands Metro, is right outside by the Victoria Square entrance. If arriving by train, Birmingham New Street and Snow Hill stations are both within a 10-minute walk away.
