Palisade
Palisade hosts several festivals each year, including the Palisade Peach Festival the third weekend in August, which offers an ice cream social, fruit stands, orchard tours, a pancake breakfast, a recipe contest, live music and a parade. The Colorado Mountain Winefest celebrates the grape with 4 days of tastings, seminars, jazz, grape stomping, winery tours and an amateur winemaker's competition in September. In early December the Olde-Fashioned Christmas entertains attendees with horse-drawn wagon rides, a soup challenge, music, caroling, arts and crafts and wine tastings.
