Covington
The five- to six-block area making up MainStrasse Village is a restored 19th-century German neighborhood. Shops and restaurants are housed in renovated buildings. Of interest in the village is the Goose Girl Fountain, a life-size bronze sculpture of a German maiden carrying two geese to the market. Greek-born sculptor Eleftherios Karkadoulias destroyed the mold from which the fountain was cast, making the sculpture a unique piece.
