Wooster
The Ohio Light Opera, the residential professional company of The College of Wooster, performs operetta and lyric theater mid-June to mid-August at Freedlander Theatre at 329 E. University St.; phone (330) 263-2345 for tickets. The college is a private liberal arts school with about 2,000 students.

Downtown Wooster is a vibrant shopping area featuring many upscale shops. Gallery in the Vault, 105 E. Liberty St., offers art and gift items in an old bank building where shoppers can go inside the vault.
