The Cedar Creek Grist Mill, 9 miles east of I-5 exit 21 via N.W. Hayes Road and Cedar Creek Road, is the oldest structure of its kind in the Evergreen State. Built in 1874, the mill still operates and is open on weekends; phone (360) 225-5832. The adjacent covered bridge was built in 1995 on the site of an earlier span.
